This team uses Competitive-ELISA as a method. It can detect neomycin (Neo) in samples, such as muscle, raw milk, etc. This kit consists of an ELISA microtiter plate, HRP conjugate, antibody working solution, standard, and other supplemental reagents.
The microtiter plate of this kit has been precoated with coupled antigen. During the reaction, Neo in the samples or standard competes with the antigen attached to the solid phase support for the anti-Neo antibody sites.
Then, Horseradish Peroxidase Conjugate (HRP) is added to each well of the microtiter plate and a Substrate Reagent for Color Development is added. There is a negative correlation between the OD value of the samples and the Neo concentration. The concentration of Neo in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples with the standard curve.
